Our skin needs vitamins
In summer, when the sun's strength is strongest, our skin needs special care. In addition to sunscreen, this also includes proper nutrition. Because sun protection starts on the inside. Lots of fruits and vegetables, lettuce, nuts and vegetable oils provide us with important antioxidant vital substances that protect the body against intense sun exposure.

Free radicals are formed by the UV light from the sun. These attack our body cells and impair their function. Free radicals are oxygen-containing molecules. They are unstable because their chemical structure lacks an electron. They then “rob” this electron from our cells. Antioxidants interrupt this process by “voluntarily” releasing their electron so that the body cells are not attacked.

Vitamins catch free radicals
The main antioxidants are vitamin E, vitamin C, beta-carotene and polyphenols. Therefore, in addition to fresh fruits and vegetables, use vegetable fats such as walnut, olive or avocado oil. These oils work not only from the inside, but also from the outside. Natural oils contain a lot of healthy vitamin E and vitamins A and D. They protect the skin sustainably from harmful oxidative influences.

Due to its special fatty acid composition, avocado oil has an excellent spreadability, i.e. it is easy to distribute and is quickly absorbed. Avocado oil does not leave an oily film on the skin. This makes your skin velvety, supple again and remains resistant even in summer. The versatile oil is therefore often used for cosmetics. It is also ideal for those who make their natural cosmetics themselves.
