Ready in half an hour: recipe for healthy nut nougat cream
Many Germans have nut nougat creams on the breakfast table every day. However, tests have shown that such products sometimes contain substances that are hazardous to health. However, if you prepare the cream yourself, you can determine the ingredients yourself.
Nutella ingredients that are hazardous to health
For many Germans, nut nougat creams are part of the daily breakfast, but health experts are rather critical of the sweet spreads. With a lot of fat and few vitamins, they should not be part of everyday food. A Ferrero product in particular has come under fire. It has been reported in the past few days that a component of Nutella could be hazardous to health. What was meant was palm oil, which is processed at high temperatures (approx. 200 degrees Celsius) and appears to be potentially carcinogenic.
Mold poison in sweet spreads
In addition, some products contain other dangerous ingredients, as tests have shown. For example, the Stiftung Warentest found mold poisons in various types of nut nougat cream in an investigation.
So there are good reasons to prepare your own spread for breakfast. We show how you can conjure up a nut nougat cream in no time - with just a few ingredients.
Recipe for a healthy nut nougat cream
400 grams of hazelnuts, two pinches of salt, five tablespoons (tablespoons) of coconut oil, four tablespoons of cocoa, half a teaspoon (teaspoon) of bourbon-vanilla aroma and six tablespoons of agave syrup are required.
First, the oven is preheated to 170 degrees. Then the hazelnuts are placed in the oven on a tray lined with baking paper for about eight to ten minutes and then chopped until a paste has formed.
Then add the remaining ingredients (salt, coconut oil, cocoa, bourbon-vanilla flavor, agave syrup) and mix everything well: done!
The recipe can also be easily modified. For example, instead of hazelnuts, almonds, hazelnuts or cashew nuts. And the coconut oil can be replaced by almond or hazelnut oil, among other things. (ad)
